2025 PSLE Bootcamps: Supporting Students & Parents Where It Matters Most
Having supported thousands of PSLE students over the years, we understand what works, and we are here to support both students and parents through this journey.
After years of online PSLE Bootcamps, our first in-person PSLE Power Up Bootcamps were back in full swing. We had over 620 students join us, both online and in person across all our PSLE bootcamps! Our flagship bootcamps were designed to provide intensive revision and build confidence in students right before the PSLE.
For the PSLE Power Up Bootcamps, each student came in prepared, having completed mock practice papers at home. This allowed the bootcamps to go deeper by clearing misconceptions, reinforcing foundations, and addressing questions students already knew they needed help with.
Focused on the Critical PSLE Components, Concepts & Trending Questions
Our experienced PSLE teachers focused on the areas where students tend to struggle the most, drawing on insights from past exam trends and their experience guiding thousands of PSLE students.
In our PSLE Power Up Bootcamps, we focused on:
English: Comprehension Cloze, Comprehension Open-Ended, Grammar, Synthesis & Transformation, Composition
Maths: Challenging problem sums using our Power Codes, trending PSLE questions, common mistakes
Science: Open-ended and experiment-based questions, common PSLE topics like Reproduction in Plants, Water & Changes of State, Human & Plant Systems, Energy & Forces
Chinese & Higher Chinese: Comprehension Open-Ended, Composition, Language Use, Listening Comprehension
Students had plenty of opportunities to ask questions and clarify their doubts as teachers moved around the class.
Interactive & Engaging Learning at Our PSLE Bootcamps
A full day of learning requires focus, especially with the PSLE approaching. That’s why our bootcamps were structured to keep students actively involved, rather than just listening passively. Lessons were broken up with team activities, group discussions, and quick quizzes like Kahoot! to reinforce key concepts in an engaging and interactive way.
For example, in English Comprehension Cloze, students practised using the contextual clue-searching technique to identify clue words, then applied it immediately through timed challenges and group discussions.
Beyond Our Bootcamps: Student Motivational Segment & Practice Papers Live Q&A
On top of the bootcamp sessions, we also included a motivational segment and parent briefings to help both students and parents feel more ready in the lead-up to the PSLE. Students also joined live Q&A sessions, where our teachers went through practice paper questions, focusing on common pitfalls and trending PSLE question types. It was a chance for students to clarify doubts and apply what they had learnt in the bootcamp to PSLE questions.
Supporting Parents Through Complimentary PSLE Oral Webinars
We wanted to support parents in understanding what to expect and how to guide their child at home, so we put together English and Chinese oral webinars specifically for parents, to walk them through the oral answering techniques.
For English, we introduced frameworks like REAP and PEERS. For Chinese, we explained how to approach video-based conversation questions step by step. Parents also watched live demonstrations of how a good oral response should sound.
More than 450 parents joined us, and we’re heartened to know that many found the webinars informative.
1:1 PSLE English & Chinese Oral Mock Tests
For many students, the oral exam is one of the least practised components of the PSLE. In addition to our comprehensive resources, which included vocabulary phrases for common PSLE oral themes and model responses, our English and Chinese Oral Bootcamps also included one-to-one physical mock tests.
These sessions gave students the chance to practise in an exam-simulated setting, be assessed using the actual exam rubrics, and receive targeted feedback from teachers.
Students benefited from knowing exactly how to improve, whether it was speaking with greater clarity, adding depth to their answers, or managing nerves during Video-Based Conversation (VBC) or Stimulus-Based Conversation (SBC) questions.
Testimonials from Students and Parents
I learnt a lot of Power Codes, such as Unchanged Difference, Unchanged Total, and Units & Parts. These Power Codes are really useful for solving word problems.
Hu Jun Xi | Student from PSLE Power Up Bootcamps
There were plenty of helpful PSLE materials, and I learnt different methods to approach the questions. We got to work in groups and had fun during the breaks too.
At first, I struggled with some of the tougher question types, especially the True/False ones. I often got them wrong. But during the PSLE bootcamps, the teachers showed us how to tackle them. That really helped me see things more clearly. Now, those questions feel familiar and I know how to solve them confidently.
