Hey there, hope everyone is enjoying the year end holidays. Christmas cheer is in the air and our students are busy crafting Christmas cards for their teachers - happening at all centres.

🚀 What’s Happening In Our Classes
Our lower primary students are fully enjoying Discovery Zone activities, a fun segment within their 2 hour classes. For our Chinese lessons, they practised giving short speeches in front of their classmates, an activity that builds confidence and nurtures oral skills. They are also revising words from the previous lesson through spelling (听写) and learning new textbook vocabulary (课本词语) for the first topic of the new year.
For our P6 students, this week’s focus is on English Comprehension and Composition. They are using the ALP answering technique to tackle different comprehension question types and learning from an A* model composition on the theme of leadership, supported by a Mind Stretching Vocabulary list they can apply across similar composition themes.

Get a head start to Secondary 1 with the key skills that build confidence and success!
English: Equips students with the essential skills needed to excel in Comprehension, Essay Writing, and Speaking & Communication.
Maths: Focuses on building a strong foundation in Number Systems and Algebra. Students will deepen their understanding of real numbers, learn to perform mathematical operations accurately, and apply these skills to solve real-world problems.
Chinese: Students will learn effective strategies to expand Chinese Vocabulary (扩大词汇量的方法和练习) and master key question-analysis and idea-generation techniques for A*-quality Chinese essays (记叙文命题作文的审题和构思技巧).
Science: Introduces students to fundamental topics such as the periodic table, elements, mixtures and compounds, separation techniques, and density. They will also explore the concepts of reflection and refraction of light.
